Decent homemade food, great salad bar.

Great food... Great atmosphere... Super pies

Third time we have eaten there. We chose the buffet with salad bar. For a small restaurant, the salad bar is great. The vegetables are all fresh and crisp. The fried chicken is not greasy. It is moist and has a good flavor. They have a large selection of cream and fruit pies they make in-house.

The fried chicken is always good.

Green Acres is the place to be! Sorry, couldn't help myself. Seriously, if you want good home-cooked food, friendly folks, both staff and clients, this is the place to go! We love it there!

Not my first post for this restaurant but this visit, I would have to say was the best steak meal I've ever had! Ordered a Ribeye - medium and it was perfect! I even gave the wife a taste and she loved too. Even commented on it later that evening! If you live in the northeastern part of Kansas, it's worth the trip!

Fantastic little family owned place! Have all the standards and breakfast all day! Super friendly wait staff with affordable prices! Have a buffet that rotates daily but fried chicken is always available!

Great place to eat

Came in from Nebraska and my KS family promised me the 35 minute drive after a long day of swimming and shopping would be worth it. It was more than worth it. Great service and AMAZING food. Will be back every time I’m in the area.

The all you can eat buffet salad fried chicken and the chicken noodles over potatoes was the bomb and save room for the pies Apple, lemon Marian and many more. Very nice and clean.

Great food! I had a fresh, scratch made chicken fried steak. Fresh, tender, and crispy breading. Totally worth the drive!

Grew up on this food. Hadn't been there in years though. Still fantastic foord and incredible service. More than worth the drive. Cannot do it justice in words. It is a place I wish I could take everyone I know at least once.

Food and service always great

Love hamburger steak with mash potatoes, fried chicken, yummy. Pancakes were bland and tasteless. Fantastic desserts and pies. Awesome salad bar, well worth the price. Weekly specials are delicious. This is one of my favorite places to go. When you walk in you don't feel like a customer you feel like family.

Food and service good as always. Restaurant needs to be cleaned-up and have a major facelift. Too dark and uninviting atmosphere.

Busy place. This is where a lot of old people go out to eat. Food is pretty good. Waitresses are hard working. Best liver-n-onions in the county is served here. Chicken fried steak is very good too. Hamburgers, very good.

For 20 plus years, this family is still feeding people the best. Great service, food buffet and very friendly. If pizza is ticking your taste buds, check out the GAP next door. People drive for miles to eat here, and keep coming back.

Mediocre food. Buffet chicken was cold. Husband's prime rib was tough. Veggies on salad bar were obviously not fresh. Service was good.

Good food, friendly wait staff, local coffee stop. We've only eaten breakfast and lunch here, but assume evening meals would be just as good.

Went for the first time tonight. Chicken, steak, shrimp, mashed potatoes, desserts, all were amazing! The service was great and everyone was super nice! Definitely going back and probably sooner than later.

Well worth the short drive. Very friendly and attentive staff including the owner who also made her rounds throughout the dining room. The broasted chicken is simply amazing and the salad bar was very well-kept. One of the best meals we have had in all of NE Kansas.

Always good food at a fair price

1) our waitress was rude. No smile, no eye contact, flat pan expression and negative attitude. All staff 'tired', unfriendly. Oh well on that.2) Broasted chicken=means dried up, greasy, old, tasteless and small peices. A small dried up wing is counted as a white meat piece. 3) Couldn't handle our card, everything I touched had to be wiped off, I get it. But the toilets were filthy, men's toilet had BM on it. Ummm......4) trash was left on the table from the previous customer as we were being served our food. 5) wifi didn't work
